Bays West

Bays West is a major waterfront urban renewal project located approximately 2 km from the Sydney CBD that seeks to transform underutilised government-owned harbour and port land into a new mixed-use precinct. Key features include up to 8,500 homes with a minimum 10% allocated to affordable and essential worker housing, significant new public open space, public access to waterfront areas previously inaccessible for more than a century, new walking and cycling connections, and integration with the future Sydney Metro station.
