The Bowmans Creek Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project combining wind power and battery storage, situated approximately 10 kilometres east of Muswellbrook within the NSW Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone.
It is planned to be delivered in two stages:
• Stage One: installation of 54 wind turbines along with a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 250 megawatts / 2,414 megawatt-hours.
• Stage Two: installation of an additional 21 wind turbines.
