The Conargo Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project within the NSW South-West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), comprising a 300-megawatt (MW) wind farm and a 150 MW / 1,200 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS).
The proposed development would include:
- Up to 53 wind turbine generators and associated foundations.
- A utility-scale battery energy storage system to store and dispatch renewable energy.
- New and upgraded access roads to support construction and ongoing operations.
- Ancillary infrastructure
