Dinawan Energy Hub is a ~1 GW integrated wind, solar and battery project located beside Transgrid’s Dinawan Substation in the South West REZ. Stage 1 is the 357 MW Dinawan Wind Farm, about 60 km southwest of Darlington Point, between Jerilderie and Coleambally on Wiradjuri Country within the Murrumbidgee and Edward River LGAs.
Developed by Spark Renewables, a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Stage 1 includes up to 53 wind turbines plus associated infrastructure. The project will connect to the Dinawan Substation, which is being built as part of Project EnergyConnect linking Robertstown (SA) and Wagga Wagga.
