The Gol Gol Wind Farm is a utility-scale renewable energy development proposed in the South West Renewable Energy Zone near Buronga in western New South Wales. Developed by Squadron Energy, the project is designed to generate up to 840 MW of clean electricity from onshore wind resources and supply power to the National Electricity Market. The development includes wind turbine generators, substations, transmission infrastructure, access roads and associated support facilities, and forms part of the broader Gol Gol Renewable Energy Projects alongside the proposed Gol Gol Solar Farm and Gol Gol Battery Energy Storage System.
