The Hawsons Iron Project is a proposed large-scale magnetite iron ore mine located about 70 km southwest of Broken Hill, NSW. The project aims to produce premium magnetite concentrate grading approximately 68.5%-68.6% Fe, targeted at the growing global green steel market. The project contains a mineral resource of approximately 4.4 billion tonnes and an ore reserve of 2.3 billion tonnes, making it one of Australia's largest undeveloped magnetite projects.
