Hydrogen Park Wagga Wagga is a 10 MW renewable hydrogen production project proposed by the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) in the Bomen Industrial Precinct. It will use renewable electricity to power an alkaline electrolyser producing up to 2.6 tonnes of hydrogen per day, enabling up to 20% hydrogen blending into the Wagga Wagga gas network, which services around 23,500 connections. The facility will also include onsite storage (up to 950 kg) and tube‑trailer loading infrastructure to supply local industrial users and support emerging hydrogen transport applications.

The project forms part of AGIG’s national renewable gas strategy and aligns with the NSW Government’s Special Activation Precinct objectives. Located near major freight corridors, HyP Wagga Wagga aims to accelerate regional decarbonisation, provide early hydrogen access for industry, and demonstrate scalable hydrogen blending in distribution networks. It is currently in Front‑End Engineering Design (FEED), with an estimated cost of AUD $58–60 million and a targeted Final Investment Decision (FID) in 2027–28.
