The Jindera BESS is a proposed 250MW / 500MWh battery energy storage facility located at Glenellen/Jindera in the Greater Hume Shire. The project is being developed by Gransolar Development Australia (via BESS Atlantic Pty Ltd) and includes associated electrical and connection infrastructure. The battery will store electricity and discharge during periods of peak demand to improve network reliability and support the NSW energy transition
