Narragamba Solar and Storage Project

Narragamba Solar and Storage Project is a proposed 140 MWdc (100 MWac) solar farm combined with a 100 MW / 400 MWh battery energy storage system south‑east of Narrabri, designed to deliver utility‑scale renewable generation and firming capacity into the National Electricity Market. The project incorporates single‑axis tracking panels, a high‑capacity BESS, an onsite substation, internal electrical reticulation and access‑track infrastructure, with the layout shaped to minimise impacts on surrounding agricultural land while providing reliable, dispatchable clean energy and grid‑support services such as load‑shifting and frequency response.
