Paling Yards Wind Farm is a proposed wind energy project by Global Power Generation Australia (GPG Australia) located approximately 30 kilometres north of Taralga and 60 kilometres south of Oberon in New South Wales. The project covers approximately 4,600 hectares and comprises up to 47 wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 240 metres and an installed capacity of up to 290 MW. The proposal includes an on-site collector substation, an approximately 7-8 km 132 kV transmission line, and a 132/500 kV switching station connecting to TransGrid's existing Mt Piper-Bannaby 500 kV transmission line.
