The NSW Government has announced the redevelopment of Penrith Stadium, delivering a modern, world-class sporting and entertainment venue for Western Sydney.
The redevelopment will include:
- Demolition and replacement of the existing western grandstand.
- New player and athlete facilities designed to accommodate both male and female sporting teams.
- Upgraded amenities, including enhanced food and beverage outlets for patrons.
- Refurbishment of the eastern grandstand.
- New and improved stadium entry points to enhance accessibility and visitor experience.
- A dedicated warm-up area on the western field.
Upon completion, the redevelopment is expected to increase the stadium’s capacity from 22,500 to 25,000 spectators, providing a contemporary venue capable of hosting major sporting events and entertainment attractions while improving comfort and accessibility for fans and participants alike.
