Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA) is inviting local suppliers to join its growing sovereign rotary‑wing sustainment network—an exciting opportunity to partner with one of the world’s leading defence and aerospace companies. With more than 108,000 employees globally and over 1,200 team members here in Australia, Lockheed Martin delivers advanced technologies that support the Australian Defence Force every day.
LMA currently sustains the Royal Australian Navy’s MH‑60R Seahawk fleet and is positioned as a potential industry partner for the Australian Army’s proposed UH‑60M Black Hawk program under LAND 4507‑1. To strengthen and expand these capabilities, LMA is seeking Expressions of Interest from Australian companies eager to contribute to long‑term, nationally significant defence programs.
This opportunity is open to organisations of all sizes across Australia with expertise in areas such as aero‑mechanical component manufacturing, aerostructure production and repair (both composite and non‑composite), aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), ground support equipment supply, and aerospace logistics or engineering management tools. Whether your business is already active in the defence sector or looking to break into this space, LMA is building a multi‑location sustainment network that values local capability, innovation and reliability.
Once registered through the ICN Gateway, your submission will be reviewed by LMA’s Industrial Development and Rotary‑Wing Program teams. Selected organisations will be contacted to discuss upcoming opportunities, capability alignment and any requirements for progressing further. Depending on the work package, regulatory approvals such as DASR, CASR, ISO, DISP membership and JOSCAR registration may be needed.
This is an excellent chance to align your business with a major global prime, contribute to Australia’s sovereign defence capability, and explore long‑term opportunities in the rapidly expanding aerospace support sector.
