The Stoney Creek BESS is a proposed large-scale battery project near Narrabri, NSW. It would deliver a 125MW / 1,000MWh (1GWh) battery energy storage facility with associated infrastructure and connection to Transgrid's Narrabri substation. The project is intended to store electricity during periods of low demand and discharge energy during periods of peak demand, improving grid stability and supporting renewable energy integration.
