The Stratford Renewable Energy Hub will transform the former Stratford Mining Complex near Gloucester into a renewable energy precinct featuring a 300MW pumped hydro energy storage facility with 12 hours of storage and a 320MW solar farm. The project will repurpose existing mine infrastructure and is expected to provide enough electricity to power up to 120,000 homes while supporting NSW's long-duration energy storage requirements.
