Tamworth Solar Farm

The Tamworth Solar Farm is a utility-scale renewable energy project located in the Tamworth region of New South Wales, designed to generate clean electricity through a 65 MW solar photovoltaic facility complemented by energy storage infrastructure. Developed by Oriens Energy, the project incorporates solar generation assets, battery storage capability, electrical connection infrastructure, internal access roads, and associated support facilities. By increasing the supply of renewable energy to the electricity network, the development will contribute to regional energy security, support the transition to a lower-carbon power system, and deliver economic benefits to the local community through investment and employment opportunities.
