The Upper Hunter BESS is a proposed 400MW / 800MWh battery energy storage facility located in Aberdeen, NSW, within the Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone. The project is intended to connect to existing transmission infrastructure and provide up to two hours of storage capacity, supporting grid reliability, renewable energy integration and energy security.
