Wallaroo Solar Farm

The Wallaroo Solar Farm is a utility-scale renewable energy project located in the Yass Valley region of New South Wales adjacent to the ACT border. Developed by a joint venture between New Energy Development and Univergy International, the project combines a 100 MW solar photovoltaic facility with battery energy storage infrastructure to deliver clean electricity to the National Electricity Market. The development includes solar arrays, energy storage systems, grid connection infrastructure and associated support facilities, while allowing for the continuation of agricultural activities such as sheep grazing across the site.
