Waterloo South

Waterloo South is a major urban renewal initiative within the broader Waterloo Renewal Project that aims to replace aging public housing with a mixed community of social, affordable and market housing while improving public amenity and community infrastructure. Key features include approximately 3,300 new homes with at least half allocated to social and affordable housing, new parks and open space, enhanced access to shops and services, improved pedestrian and cycling connections, and a strong focus on sustainability, accessibility and Aboriginal community outcomes. The project is being delivered through a partnership involving Homes NSW, Stockland and community housing providers, with a stated objective of creating a more inclusive, well-connected and diverse neighbourhood.
