Wattle Creek Energy Hub

The Wattle Creek Energy Hub is an integrated renewable energy development located near Marulan in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Developed by Spark Renewables in partnership with the University of Sydney, the project combines large-scale solar generation with advanced battery energy storage to supply reliable, low-emissions electricity to the National Electricity Market. The energy hub includes a solar photovoltaic facility, long-duration battery storage systems, electrical connection infrastructure and associated support facilities, while enabling ongoing agricultural, teaching and research activities on the host property.
